Today I have finished a rambling Bougainvillea at a trellis of Hans Meier. Something new under my flowers ,so it took a long time of trying out how to do. I hope you like it :-)

Natural looking grass
This is a post to the question from Catherine how to make this natural looking grass. The secret is static grass . The designing of a landscape is very time consuming and the material not cheap, but if you do it often the investment worth every cent. To show you how to ,I give you this link .
http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/8310
But if you search in Google with the terms : static grass model railways you will find many more.
The picture of this Irish hut shows you the possibilities . It makes much fun, because you have different colors of grass .You can add weeds, wild grass and other things you like between the landscape,so it will never look boring. Naturally like in real size .

Art Deco
After long studies about the era of Art Deco,I finished this commission work. I had to learn the style of design, the flowers which they used in this time . It wasn't easy ,because mostly I arrange flowers casual . In this era every placement of a flower has to be well thought out and calculated. On the other hand, I am glad about this new knowledge ,so that I now know how to
do this style if any one ever wants a modern/contemporary flower
arrangement.

Published and a review at the show 1zu12 in Germany
It's one month ago, that we had the wonderful show 1zu12 here in Germany . Like always it was filled with great artisans and I enjoyed the two days there as an exhibitor. I was really glad, when I received the German Magazine 1zu12 and the Spanish Miniaturas . Both magazines published my flowers and special show displays .
Here are some photos of these two magazines
This was my special show display. A wagon of Hans Meier , filled with different kind of flower arrangements . As a memory, I combined it with dolls of my friend Cornelia Koehler. She passed away in April this year .
A mix of flowers and the terrace in teamwork with Alexandra Cantatore and Pierluigi Pirovano
The terrace also on the cover of the Spanish Miniaturas :-)

I have made something new in teamwork with Hans Meier, who made these beautiful fountains with iron trellis for me . They

Flowers at trellis
Wishing you all a wonderful Easter and little
bit of sunshine . It won't come here in Germany, but nothing will
prevent me to make flowers in miniature :-) ! I started a new collection
with some trellis in different forms, made by Hans Meier . You can see all these flowers at the show in Rheda 1zu12.
Yellow rose at a fan-shaped trellis
Hollyhocks with delphinium at a squiggled trellis
Climbing red rose at a half-round trellis

I'm busy working
While it is still snowing outside and it's really cold, I try to bring a breath of summer on my work table. I'm very busy working, because I'm already working for the show in the beginning of June in Rheda . Time is flying every year and I hope , that I will manage it this year, that I don't bustling around like every year . Haha, I don't believe in that ! Here are some news I have made during the last weeks : Some mixed flowers for the garden like the red geraniums and the dame's violet. A bunch of spider mums .
Here is a new fan palm ,which fits wonderful in an entrance hall.
And a little lemon tree. I made it now high, like in the past. It is only 7cm high , including the pot. So it can be used in a kitchen scene or at the terrace . The little garden accessories made by my friend Alexandra Cantatore

Today for me it is a special day. Madelva Fernandez published my work again in the Miniaturas . She is a very nice person and motivated with everything, what the miniature scene concerns. I feel very honored, to be a part of the magazine this month .
