A little bit of Art Deco

Sometimes I like to make things in the style of Art Deco. So have this wonderful Vase from Igma artisan Ulrich Vetter and decorated it with a phalaenopsis in soft pink tones .The lovely bronze statue is from Neil Carter .

A preview of the summer

I like to show you one of the new flower beds I have made for the next fair 1zu12 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück . There are hollyhocks,delphinium ,little mums and a green-plant .

I was very happy when I got a mail from Paloma of Un Taller de Miniaturas .
She send me the article which was published in the Spanish Miniaturas by Madelva about my flowers . I'm thrilled how Madelva made the article about my work and how she coupled all the flowers together to a wonderful report :-) Thank you Madelva !!!

The brides maid is ready

Yesterday Hannah Marguire ,who is a dollmaker from Dublin, send me pictures of the finished brides maid doll,for which I have made the wedding bouquet . I like to show you this,because I think ,she have done a wonderful work !!! She will also make a replica of Kate Middleton and I will try the wedding bouquet .So we both ,like many, many others are curious looking forward when the bridal arrives in Westminster Abbey very soon :-) !

Blue passion flower

This blue passion flower is always a challenge ,but I love to make it :-)!
I also planted it two weeks ago in my garden and today I just had the first bud.Looking forward if it will be growing big like every year.

What's your opinion ?

I have made this bouquet longer time ago,perhaps you remember?!
Now I have to arrange them again ,but I'm not sure which kind of pot looks better :-( ! Could you please help me ? The first one is a simple pot which I have painted and the second is from Elisabeth Causeret.

Hydrangeas in pastel colours

Just a photoshoot of my workbench .I thought the soft colours of the hydrangeas bring a little breeze of summer to you .

Yesterday I have found this great website with videos of great collections ,partly privat and partly of museums .Also you will find many links of artisans ,blogs and a big list of shops with everything you need to build a dollhouse . Außerdem findet ihr hier eine Menge Links von Künstlern,Blogs und Geschäften in denen ihr alles findet was man zum Bauen eines Puppenhauses braucht. Wildblumenstrauß

Während ich hier an den Kräutern sitze ,habe ich zwischenzeitlich einen dazu passenden Strauss aus Wildblumen zusammen gestellt .

Ein paar getrocknete Kräuter

Habe mal wieder etwas ganz Neues ausprobiert,was mich schon lange gereizt hat .Ich habe einen totalen Faible für Küchen und da gehören für mich unbedingt getrocknete Kräuter hinein. Also habe ich mal die ersten ausprobiert :Hagebutten,Betonica und Rainfarn .


Beim Spielen damit habe ich dann entdeckt ,man kann sie auch schön in einem Korb dekorieren .Der Korb ist nicht von mir ,sondern von Waldemar Backert,der ein Meister dieser Kunst ist !
