That is fantastic! I love everything about it. The awning looks like fabric. Did you print it on your computer?

Michelle did a beautiful job making the palms. Maybe there is hope for me yet making a few flower kits. LOL

I love the black board and the garbage can with the mice too. I bet your mother was thrilled!!!

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your comments and yes,Catherine ,my mother was very thrilled;-)!The awning looks like fabric, because I used textured paper ;-)!Fabric isn't a material with which I can work so good,so I took what works ever ,lol! I glued it over a wood frame and the letters are self-adhesive,I only repainted them from gold into antique white.Jeannette

What a lovely gift for your mother. I really like the 3D effect with the different aspects and your daughters make a great job of the palm and bin. The accordian playing with his cigarette looks just the thing sitting there!

Jeannette,

Thank you for telling me how you did the awning. It looks great!!!

I have been having fun printing rugs (I find online) on fabric. You can buy the (ready to print) fabric sheets at craft stores and print them using your computer. You can buy them colorfast too.

I usually have to resize the rugs I find to fit on the sheets I bought. They look so real when you photogaph them in a miniature setting.
