What's your opinion ?

I have made this bouquet longer time ago, perhaps you remember?!
Now I have to arrange them again ,but I'm not sure which kind of pot looks better :-( ! Could you please help me ? The first one is a simple pot which I have painted and the second is from Elisabeth Causeret.

I really like both arrangements but the second looks more elegant.

mir würde das erste Arrangement besser gefallen.

both are very good, and if i need to choose one of them, i will choose the second one, because when it pair with the chair, it looks better.

I think the first one looks a bit more formal and the second one has more of a country feel about it! I like the second one better!!!
The flowers are very beautiful by the way :-)

I love the second one. The first one is nice but a bit too formal for my liking.Your fowers are, as usual, gorgeous! Rosanna

Your flowers look great with both of them, but perhaps I like the first one. I think it depends on the place you put one or another pot.

I love the urn! Though they are both lovely.

Thanks for your opinions :-)! The flowers haven't a special place and I used the chair only for the photo.I just wanted to know, which kind of pot you like better.Until now the score is even,lol:-)

i prefer the first photo.

Although generally I like informal bouquets, in this case I like the first arrangement best. The urn lifts the bouquet a little bit which makes the flowers stand out better. The second vase, although very pretty, is too round for the shape of the bouquet. Well that's my opinion anyway, ;)
The flowers are very pretty, as always.

They're both lovely, but I think the second one really shows off the flowers better. It looks casual, elegant, and beautiful. The first one would look good in a formal setting. Nice work on the flowers, they're gorgeous! :)

Both Elisabeth Causeret's pot and your flowers are beautiful...though the combination in the second arrangement looks a bit too full. For that reason I'd choose the first. I'd love to see the second arrangement with perhaps two or three flowers less :)

hello, for me the first one because I like everything old, by the way the flowers are amazing, like the others you do. congratulations

I think they are made for different settings. The first is more formal and elegant and I could see it in a grand house, while the second is more relaxed and country looking. Isn't it surprising the difference the pot makes. :) It is stunning either way.

The flowers are lovely, they look good the way you have them arranged. But you asked about how I like the pots with them so I will answer that question.

Looking at it only with an artist eye for proportion and massing then I like the first arrangement better. The darker color of the base anchors the composition. The taller proportions of the pot complement the more linear flowers that spike out of the arrangement.

If the second pot were larger it would work better. But as it is white and small it gets a bit lost and the flowers seem rather suspended in mid air. It seems a pity for such a fine miniature pot to be a bit overwhelmed in the composition. It needs to be reserved for a time when it can live up to its own beautiful potential in an arrangement.

oh those flowers look so very wonderfull! I think I like the first one best, because the color makes the colors of the flowers 'pop' out more! It's also a bit more sturdy an taller than the second one, wich suits the lavishness of your bouqet. The second vase is beautifull but a little to round, white and small for your flower arrangement. That's my opinion! But I can see that the vote's are almost even now! haha

Garden of Miniatures hat gesagt…

Yes,the vote's are even :-)!But it was also my opinion that the first pot looks better.Karin gets the heart of that what I thought by looking at the two options. So I take the garden urn. Thanks for your help,it was very interesting to hear the different arguments!!!Jeannette x

I love both, it depends where you want to disply the bouquet. The first one would look perfect in a classic decoration, a kind of chateau. The second one as got a country look, I think it is easier to display and can go in any kinds of setting.
I am looking forward to seeing what you're going to choose.

Monica hat gesagt…

What a difficult question to answer, as both are lovely in their own right. I'd say it depends on what kind of room you'll be putting them in. The arrangement in the urn is more formal in proportion and design, and would suite something elegant and refined, while the one in the round container has a softer, more gently relaxed country feel. The fact that your floral work is so incredibly gorgeous makes me think you should do one of each ... and maybe another, using the naturally loose (bottom) arrangement in the urn, as it would be especially beautiful, and would suit any type of decor ... shabby or chic!
